Sacrificial Anodes

Magnesium Anode

Magnesium anodes work based on a principle called cathodic protection. When connected to a metal structure (such as a pipeline or a boat hull) as part of a cathodic protection system, the magnesium anode sacrifices itself by corroding instead of the protected metal. This process prevents the metal structure from rusting or corroding, extending its lifespan.
Application Areas
  • Patrol, natural gas, fuel and potable water pipelines/tanks
  • Hot water boilers
  • Metal structures and scaffolds in freshwater

Aluminium Anode

For activating aluminum metal to serve as a battery aluminum metal is melted and indium metal is put into it. The open-circuit potential of the aluminum anode is 1100mV.

Application Areas

  • Offshore platforms
  • Ship hulls
  • Inside the tank
  • underwater pipes
  • Crude oil storage tanks

ZINC Anode

It is used for cathodic protection of all kinds of metal structures in the sea and saltwater.

Application Areas

  • Scaffoldings
  • Ships
  • Underwater pipelines
  • Interior surfaces of crude oil tanks and seawater transport pipelines
  • All metal structures in saltwater
